Description
- Day 2 of the YUNEXA Home Fitness Program focuses on full-body mobility, flexibility, and functional strength. This routine is designed to improve posture, balance, and muscle coordination, making everyday movements easier. By integrating a combination of stretching, strength exercises, and controlled movements, this session supports long-term health and joint stability.
Workout Breakdown
1. Warm-Up (5-7 minutes)
This phase helps activate muscles and prepare the body for movement.
- Waist and hip rotations to enhance mobility and increase circulation
- Squats to engage the lower body while maintaining balance
2. Mobility and Functional Strength Training (15-20 minutes)
- Standing forward bend performed three times, followed by a chest stretch to release tightness in the upper body
- Bent-elbow chest stretch, alternating between right and left, to improve mobility
- Lifting light dumbbells from the ground to develop functional strength
- Dumbbell lateral raises (2-3 sets of 12 reps) to improve shoulder stability and endurance
3. Core and Stability Training (10-12 minutes)
- Plank punches (knees down or full plank) to strengthen the core and upper body (3 sets of 10 reps per side)
- Push-ups to improve endurance and functional strength (3 sets of 10 reps)
4. Cool Down and Recovery (5 minutes)
- Seated hamstring stretch to improve flexibility in the lower body
- Seated spinal twist on both sides to relieve tension and promote spinal alignment
