5-Minute Desk Stretches to Boost Your Productivity

Sitting for long hours can take a toll on your body and mind. Incorporate these 5-minute desk stretches into your daily routine to improve posture, reduce stress, and enhance focus.

1. Neck Rolls (1 minute)

    • Sit upright with feet flat on the floor.
    • Gently tilt your head to one side, rolling it forward and then to the other side.
    • Repeat 3 times each way.

2. Seated Spinal Twist (2 minutes)

    • Sit on the edge of your chair.
    • Place your left hand on the backrest and twist your torso to the left.
    • Hold for 30 seconds and repeat on the other side.

 

3. Shoulder Shrugs (2 minutes)

    • Raise your shoulders toward your ears and hold for 3 seconds.
    • Release and repeat for 10 reps.

Burns: ~15 calories.
