Ingredients
For the Marinated Fillet Mignon:

2 beef fillet steaks (approx. 180–220g each)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce (Optional)

- 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil
For the Katte Rice:

1 cup Basmati or Persian rice

1.5 cups water

1 tbsp butter or oil

2 tsp sea salt
Instructions

Marinate the Fillet
In a bowl, mix all marinade ingredients. Pat steaks dry, coat evenly, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deep flavor). -
Prepare the Katte Rice
Rinse rice until water runs clear. In a pot, bring water, butter, and salt to a boil. Add rice, cover, and simmer on low for 14–15 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes before fluffing. -
Grill the Fillet
Preheat a cast iron pan or grill to high heat. Sear fillet for 2–3 minutes per side (for medium-rare), then let rest 5 minutes before slicing. -
Plate & Serve
Fluff rice into a bowl or plate. Slice fillet and serve on top. Optionally garnish with microgreens, grilled garlic, or a drizzle of the pan juices.
