Ingredients (Serves 4):
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp turmeric (Curcuma)
- 60 ml water
- 200g lean ground beef
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp bio low-fat tomato paste
- 250g spaghetti
- Parmesan cheese, to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
- Garlic-infused olive oil (for topping)
Instructions:

Sauté the Base
In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté chopped onions until translucent. -
Add Ground Beef
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Break up the meat as it cooks. -
Season & Simmer
Add turmeric, water, salt, black pepper, and tomato paste. Stir well and let simmer for 5–7 minutes. -
Cook the Spaghetti
In the meantime, boil spaghetti in salted water for 8–9 minutes or until al dente. -
Assemble & Serve
Drain the pasta, serve on plates, and spoon the bolognese over the top. Garnish with grated parmesan, basil, and a drizzle of garlic-infused olive oil.
